In the current uncertain times of coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to let you know we’re thinking of you.

At Booze Trucks and 503, it is always our goal to provide you the best service and that includes protecting the health and safety of all the members of our community. We understand you may be dealing with a lot at this time and have several questions. We want to personally ensure you that we are alerted to the concerns and monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19 very closely.

To stay up to date on all necessary precautions we are monitoring the advice of experts, including guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Restaurant Association resources, Oregon Health Authority, and other local health officials.

We are committed to doing what we can to maintain our operations in ways that responsibly take into consideration the needs of our staff and guests. In addition to our already high health, safety and cleanliness standards, we have instituted additional cleaning and sanitization procedures, above and beyond our normal practices, to ensure you are in the safest possible environment and getting the same great service we promised.

Here are some action steps we’re taking at all events:

  • We have added Center for Disease Control signage, at the mobile bar, that encourages basic hygiene, such as, best practices for washing hands, safe distances, and covering your cough.

  • Our team has been and will continue to do additional deep cleaning on touchable surfaces throughout the day. Countertops, tap handles, point of sale units and other equipment that regularly comes in contact with people will be disinfected frequently throughout the service time of each event.

  • Gloves will be worn when working with ice that goes directly into beverages for your guests. We are only using bagged ice vs scooping out of containers in order to reduce the spread of germs.

  • All cups will be single-use plastic cups that are immediately disposed of after one use and a new cup will be provided to each guest for each drink during every visit to the bar.

  • We are re-training all our staff on our cleaning, hand washing, and beverage preparation safety and reminding them to practice good personal hygiene, and consider their proximity to others.

  • Handwashing is one of our best defenses so we’re encouraging that regularly of our staff. We have running water on all of our vehicles with soap for regular hand washing of our staff.

  • Hand sanitizer has been made available at our bars for all guests to utilize.

  • We're encouraging all of our staff to stay home if they feel ill, or are concerned that they've been in contact with someone who is ill, to reduce any potential spread.

  • At the end of each day, our staff does a thorough sanitizing of the entire space.

If your event is postponed or rescheduled, please contact us immediately to work through the next steps.

Health and safety is everyone’s responsibility. We encourage you to practice safety measures at home and when you're out. Wash your hands with soap and water frequently, cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or your elbow if you have to sneeze or cough, and please stay home if you are sick.

We thank you for your continued support. Again, the health and safety of our customers, employees and our community are a top priority and we're committed to doing our part to help keep you safe.
